A new edition of the annual summer educational campaign AmberOne A1 Motorway has been launched. On motorway MOPs towards Łódź on all summer weekends, travellers will be able to experience very inspiring experiences on simulators.
The campaign under the slogan Count to ZERO is an active incentive for drivers to jointly achieve the best result when it comes to the number of road accidents. The method is a sensory experience of the causes and effects of 4 behaviours behind the wheel, which are the most common causes of accidents in Poland.
AmberOne invites drivers to confront their beliefs and habits in interactive games on a multimedia giga-installation. You can test yourself in 4 activities that, through play and experience, improve competences in 4 – unfortunately the most common and dangerous – aspects of behaviour:
- failure to adapt speed to road conditions
- failure to keep a safe distance between vehicles
- distraction with electronic devices
- fatigue and consequently MICROSLEEP behind the wheel
A stop on a holiday journey will certainly appeal to children. There is fun with the highway mascot Traveller Ambrose, a scaled outdoor game under the slogan Green Journey and, of course, commemorative gifts.
During the events at the MOPs, all travellers will also be able to use the motorway ECOcalculator. Under the slogan Foot off GAS – count, because it’s worth it! AmberOne promotes the principle of ECOdriving on the road, thanks to which we noticeably reduce combustion, and thus fuel and exhaust emission expenses. It is worth counting and understanding how economics and ecology go (or rather go) in hand. EKOcalculator is also available on the a1.com.pl website and in the free AmberOne application.
